You're far from alone

Some stories that might resonate

Here's some of what people living with Hashimoto's have shared with us so far.

Doing it aloneSpending hours researching, tracking symptoms and preparing for appointments, and driving your care on your own.
Trying thingsChanging your diet, trying supplements or adjusting medication timing, and questioning whether any of it is clinically backed or actually working for you.
Getting diagnosedFatigue, brain fog and weight changes were brushed off as stress or a busy life, sometimes for years, before anyone checked for Hashimoto's.
Bad daysNot knowing whether it's your thyroid, stress, poor sleep or something else making you feel off.
Life changesNavigating fertility or pregnancy on thyroid medication, and wanting to keep your health stable without putting the rest of your goals on hold.
Finding the right doseGetting to a dose that feels right can take multiple blood draws and years to figure out.

Why we're doing this

A note from Celia

This year, a health setback had me working with several specialists while also chasing my career goals. I found some wonderful doctors along the way, but until then it often fell to me to connect the dots: making sure my other risk factors were considered, weighing advice that didn't always agree, and making big decisions without a clear picture of how my body was doing day to day, or anyone with the same mix of conditions to compare notes with. I realized that this is the ongoing reality for many people living with chronic conditions. I'd like to take some of that load off, and to do it right, I want to hear from you first. If you're open to sharing your experience, I'd be truly grateful.
